Spring Rehearsals Being Soon!Do you like to sing? Try us out on Thursday, January 16th at 7:00pm in the North Stage Room of the Stillwater Community Center!The new year is here and we are ready to begin preparing our spring repertoire. Mark your calendars for our annual Spring Concert, Thursday, April 24, at 7:30pm.
This spring features "The Great American Songbook" that refers to a collection of timeless American popular songs and jazz standards written primarily from the 1920s to the 1950s. These songs were crafted by some of the most iconic composers and lyricists in American history, including George and Ira Gershwin, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Jerome Kern, Richard Rodgers, and Oscar Hammerstein II, among others.
Originally featured in Broadway musicals, Hollywood films, and Tin Pan Alley productions, the songs are celebrated for their sophisticated melodies, clever lyrics, and enduring appeal. The Great American Songbook remains a cornerstone of American cultural heritage, blending elements of jazz, blues, and theater. Its influence is evident in contemporary music and continues to inspire musicians, singers, and audiences worldwide. It also serves as a bridge between popular culture and the fine art of songwriting, showcasing the golden era of American music. Rehearsals begin on January 16th are each Thursday night at the Stillwater Community Center, North Stage Room, at the following times:

We will rehearse on the Winfrey Houston Auditorium Stage on April 22nd starting at 6:45pm.
