Our HistoryFounded in 1994 by Tom Anderson and his wife Beth, the original name of the choir was the Stillwater Civic Chorale. The Andersons moved to Houston the following year, and the name was changed to Stillwater Community Singers and Directors were selected from within the chorus. Of the 50+ members in the choir, 13 have been with the group since the beginning! This is indicative of the commitment we have as volunteer musicians.
Who are we?The Stillwater Community Singers choir is a volunteer organization whose goal is to serve the Stillwater area community with an entertaining experience. We delight in singing a wide variety of songs including pop, jazz, blues, Broadway, spiritual, gospel and more. We are not professional singers, we just love music. Our members range in age from 20 to 90+ and come from a variety of occupations and backgrounds. We host 3 free concerts each year - spring, fall, and Christmas. We also perform at special events as requested. If you are interested in joining us, check out our MEMBERSHIP page. There are no auditions, just a desire to sing, perform, and share your talents.

A Message from our Director...We all receive God-given skills and talents as part of our DNA. Those who are fortunate enough to be able discover those skills within themselves, and to use them on a regular basis amongst others with similar skills, are those who receive the greatest joy. If music and singing is a skill you’ve been blessed with, please come experience that joy with us and become a part of the Stillwater Community Singers.
